Glad I’m not the only one with this issue. My speed impeller stopped functioning about four weeks ago. I pulled it, and it was crusted up with barnacles. I cleaned the impeller up and reinserted. Yeah. Speed again. Sure enough a month later I go out and no speed. I figured I’d be resigned to having to remove the impeller after each sail.
