Just a note.  I have a copy of Touche's original purchase agreement from 1971.  
Item 61 on that document is:


"Name under shrouds: (gold leaf) TOUCHE' (port & stbd) 54.00"  Meaning $54.00.

When I sanded the boat prior to painting in 2011, I found "Touche'" in the cove
