Matt,I am pretty sure that later unit 2 torque tubes are the same shape as the 
early ones therefore will fit into your lower housing. I know that Harken 
changed how the sections are connected so if you can find series2 or maybe 
later sections and proper conecters you should be good to go.On the off chance 
that you have to go more modern,you maybe able to swap the lower torque 
housing.A good rigger with

    Question for you.  I have an ‘80s vintage Harken roller furler -- Mk I, 
Unit 2 – with a damaged torque tube.  Harken no longer supplies replacement 
parts for this unit.  I have done a couple internet searches and looked on 
e-Bay for a used torque tube to no avail.  Do any of you have any idea where I 
might find one?  Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
