I have the hydraulic backstay on my ‘85 33/2, I believe I saw a late model 33/2 for sale with a split backstay, was surprised to see it, but wasn’t enough visible in the pictures to figure out what/how it was done or even if it was original to the boat or year of manufacture as I remember Brad Pulse, C&C 33/2 1985 Lake Huron
