When I set up a solar panel for trickle charging the battery, I used a cigarette lighter type receptacle and plug to run the solar panel wire through the bulkhead (https://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/product.do?part=8528&engine=adwords&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-qHNvba-6wIVxdSzCh3ByQDYEAQYBCABEgLIQfD_BwE). However, I have found those plugs to not be reliable and don’t maintain contact when left for long periods. So I am looking for a better plug system.
