My impression from various reviews is that 12 volt TVs tend to be low quality devices. We watch shows onboard wit a laptop for the most part, but we have used a Kindle Fire on occasion. I would probably just get a decent computer monitor instead of a TV. Some of them run off 12 volts and the rest will work from an inverter.
