I didn’t respond because the original inquiry referred to a specific model number Blue Sea panel, with which I have no familiarity. Re: Blue Sea Systems generally, about 15-20 years ago I changed the fuse panel to Blue Sea circuit breakers on my ’78 C&C 34. I wanted two Blue Sea panels to fit in the same location as the large fuse panel being replaced, so I contacted Blue Sea for options. They told me I could buy a piece of aluminum plate (like 1/8”), have the outer dimensions cut to match the old fuse panel, have two additional cut-outs made to fit the replacement Blue Sea panels, then send the fabricated aluminum piece to Blue Sea. Blue Sea, in turn, painted or powder coated my aluminum piece along with a run of its panels so everything matched. I had a local shop fabricate the aluminum piece, sent it to Blue Sea, and it came back perfect (no charge). I don’t know if they offer this service any more.
The panels I installed worked perfectly. I also installed a Blue Sea battery switch that separates the house from the engine battery and allows for an emergency cross-connection, as well as a small circuit breaker in place of the house size cut off switch for the 120 system. I still buy Blue Sea stuff whenever needed. I have never been disappointed. Used a Blue Seas panel and took a lot of advice from Calder's and Marine how to. I didn't take any pics of the project, but it was one of the easier things that I have done... If my memory serves me correctly, I used separate bus bars for the ground and the neutral (maybe the panel had bus bars for one or both) and I installed a galvanic isolator at the shore power plug.
