Hi Birders, Starlings alerted me this morning to a female "Taiga" Merlin perched high atop a cottonwood outside my home, actively hunting for small birds. It took off before I could get a snapshot. Sometimes cloudy cool days can keep those migrant raptors a little closer to the ground, and easier to spot!
