Good Morning All,

Threw out some seed at the feeders at the Red Rocks Trading post this morning(very quiet & peaceful with the light snow & fog). Around 8 a.m. the Golden-crowned Sparrow and 1st year Harris's Sparrow showed up. Yesterday morning the Curve-billed Thrasher was present. Too foggy to check and see if the falcons were sitting on ledges waiting out the snow. On my drive out of Red Rocks ran across a flock of Western Bluebirds (20+) and near home ran into a flock of Mountain Bluebirds. This kind of a day (snow & fog) is often productive for finding flocks of migrating bluebirds at the base of the foothills by driving through foothills parks like Red Rocks and Bear Creek Lake Park.
