Yesterday evening (4/12/11), I observed a Common Loon at Boyd Lake State Park. It was foraging on the west side of the lake, very close to shore. I also noticed a flock of ~15 White-faced Ibis fly over the lake, headed north. There were also numerous Western Grebe and 1 Eared Grebe.
