This evening we found a gorgeous Blackpoll Warbler in a big pine at the
southwest edge (near the basketball court, right by the apartment complex
office) of Tantra “Lake” at Tantra lake in south Boulder. There’s also
recently been a black-crowned night heron in the trees in the morning,
though it wasn’t around this evening.

Note: I’m not sure if this area is technically considered private property
of the complex or not... there are houses and condos in the neighborhood
too, so proceed with caution if you go looking!

Good birding,
Laura Steadman
Boulder
