Sorry but I disagree here, high demand or not that is way too high in my opinion.  More importantly you should be checking with a breeder that health tests their parent dogs, many at those high prices don't so its still the luck of the draw.  Another thing too many people go on looks, personally health and temperament are top on my list before looks. 
 
Just because a cockapoo is inexpensive doesn't always mean they are no good, sometimes there are small time breeders that charge a lot less and those pups are no different than the higher priced ones if the breeder is good.  Most breeders give the first round of shots at 6 weeks along with a wormer, some breeders where certain illnesses are more prevalent in their area give shots at 4 weeks and then again before they go to their new homes. 
 
The key is to do your homework before purchasing any pup, anywhere, check out the breeder, check out from previous litters that breeder may have had.  Most people when asked will be up front and explain their experience be it good or bad.
