My cockapoo had the same problem a couple weeks after I got her. She had a severe yeast infection and was given drops for treatment. The itching was real bad, there was a foul smell to the ear and had a blackish/brownish discharge. She had not had any problems at all since that incident which was 5 months ago. I would definitely suggest a visit to your vet to have her checked and then go from there.

Take her to the vet for meds. It could also be allergies. But needs to be seen by the vet. good luck and hope she feels better soon. She constantly is scratching at her ears. I mean, not just a little scratch, she will scratch and scratch until she stinks. After she scratches, she then licks and licks her paw that she scratched with. And that is another thing, she is always licking at her paws. Front and back ones. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? Thank you! Made by Daniel Ada "Side Borders" font is Verdana Daniel's Doodles<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DanielsDoodles>
