Nickie is 4 1/2 years old now and she is a genuine peoples' dog. It
was really a lot of fun when I house trained her. I don't know how I
did it, but I did and it seems like only yesterday when I brought her
home. She was housebroken between four and six months. Whem I first
brought her home, I put a little bed at the end of my bed, but she
cuold not hold it. So in the evening, I put her in a big pen down in
the basement. Then during the day time, I let her run around the
house. I put some papers down outside that she had already dirtied
and she learned by picking up the scent on the paper.

In spite of all this, she was realatively easy to tain and everybody
thinks she is a great dog.
