Toby looks like he'll be a great dog, but I think the previous owners tolerated 
a couple of
  bad habits that I'll have to fix: mooching and chewing people.
   
  He's still a pup of course, but they must have allowed him to chew on them 
and we're
  working on that.
   
  He also won't have anything to do with his dog food and eyes our food and 
checks the
  trash constantly...so I suspect he was given people food quite a bit.  This 
might take a 
  while to break--he's pretty stubborn (boys... ;).
   
  Has anyone ever broke a dog from mooching?  I just tell him no and leave his 
food down.
  I figure, like kids, they'll eat when they finally get hungry enough and 
realize that the steak
  isn't coming.
