Keep in mind, tho, that long-eared dogs have a prob with ear infections, period, so even pulling hair doesn't nec help sometimes. Just keep them cleaned out. Watch for odors, too. Well with my 4 none are prone to infections, the oldest 2 are 8 and the younger 2 are six. I was told by a pet store owner that corn meal in dog food as the first/main ingredient isn't a good idea because it can contribute to allergies and skin/ear problems. Anyone else heard this one? Corn should never be the first ingredient in any food, yes corn can contribute to allergies as some are allergic to it. Corn is difficult to digest in the dog as it also with us. ~~ Susan ~~ & The Poo Gang Mikey, Buffy, Amy & Lacey ~~~ "When you feel dog tired at night, it may be because you've growled all day long." -- Unknown **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
