I think it depends on whether you actually used C++ for what it is or just as C with 'class' instead of 'struct' and // comments.

At least from my point of view, I didn't feel at all like C++ knowledge was in the way or that I had to 'unlearn' things. If you've used a decent OO UI toolkit, STL and BOOST before and read the "gang of four" book then there's not that much new in Objective-C/Cocoa IMHO.
