Yeah, about that. Whenever you download from the App Store, save a copy of the installer BEFORE you run it. Copy it off onto some removable media device. If you ever want to re-download the same installer, make sure that removable device is disconnected. App Store searches for the installer (starting in /Applications but going through every mounted device) to see if the installer is already present. If it is, you get the greyed-out button.
