Did you implement these delegate methods: - (void)parser:(NSXMLParser *)parser parseErrorOccurred:(NSError *)parseError; - (void)parser:(NSXMLParser *)parser validationErrorOccurred:(NSError *)validationError; ? I'm pretty sure that NSXMLParser wouldn't fail without returning any sort of error.
