With our next Airflow version release (2.8) on MWAA, we will thoroughly test Watchtower 3.x and make necessary changes to not block this change the next time. There would still be issue for available older Airflow versions on MWAA as those users won't be able to upgrade their Amazon provider after this change. This is especially bad experience for users who are using v2.6 and v2.7, as those are fairly new. Is there any reason we want to limit the watchtower version to v3.x?
