In my opinion, this PR don't change current behavior of Kafka consumption and make Druid more user-friendly. For higher version Kafka, Druid will consume Kafka transactionally by default. For lower version Kafka, this PR provides a way to consume at least, rather than upgrade the Kafka cluster, which Is a very heavy and dangerous operation. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
