Thank you @plainheart. I also found _series.encode_ to be a workaround. However, the article also says "_we recommend you use the dataset to manage the data_". So one would expect that _dataset_ would work better than _data_, not worse. The problem is that when we build applications based on ECharts, we don't know what the user dataset would be. So we cannot add _series.encode_ to help him out. We rely on ECharts internal automation to make the right choice. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
