This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. This is a feature request (HUDI-1625) to add a range-based partition key generator. The linked PR #2616 was closed in June 2021 without being merged, and there is no range key generator in the keygen package on master today (ConditionalRangePartitioner exists but is a clustering/sort partitioner, not a partition key generator).
