This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. This is a development sub-task (HUDI-8774, parent HUDI-9100) to add column-stats support for the Bootstrap feature, not a bug. Current state: still incomplete. Column stats remain disabled for bootstrap tables/tests. The proof-of-concept PR #12331 was marked `[DNM]` (do-not-merge) and closed without merging, and the related HUDI-8589 was closed only as a duplicate (not implemented). No merged change enables col stats for bootstrap. Pending: implementing and enabling column stats (data skipping) for bootstrapped file groups, plus re-enabling the disabled tests (e.g. `TestFiltersInFileGroupReader#testFiltersInFileFormat`).
