This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage.
Findings: This is an internal API-review / planning task (JIRA HUDI-8152),
not a user-facing bug or feature request. It tracks reviewing the Java Timeline
APIs across read, write, and maintenance paths as part of the umbrella epic
HUDI-6243 ("Internal API/Abstractions for 1.X Release Line"). HUDI-8152 is
Open/Unresolved and unassigned (fix version 1.1.0, last updated 2024-09-06),
and the parent epic HUDI-6243 is still open, so this remains active
roadmap/tracking work for the 1.X abstraction effort. There is nothing to
reproduce or independently validate here.
Disposition: roadmap item under an active epic. Keeping open and tracking it
with the 1.X API & Abstractions work.
