This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. Findings: This tracks a Flink SQL enhancement (HUDI-4639) to let batch queries read delete (-D) records via a config flag. The issue body carries only JIRA metadata, but the linked PR #6435 documents the intended change. That PR is still open, currently has merge conflicts (unmergeable), and has had no substantive activity since 2022, so the feature was never merged.
