CI status (maintainer triage, not a review of the change): the retriggered Build on 705dbaac0 failed `unit-test (8)` on `CoordinatorServiceTest#testClearCoordinatorServiceDropsPendingJobsUnderRejectStrategy` (a 5 s timeout, the known flake from #12012) and `all-connectors-it-3 (8)` on `ClickhouseIT#clickhouseWithCreateSchemaWhenNotExistAndDropData` (99 rows instead of 100 on the Zeta leg; single sighting, watching it). Neither is in this PR's diff. The branch was 67 commits behind dev and still carried the pre-#12013/#12050 version of that unit test, so instead of another empty commit I merged dev into the branch (b6f8040d). The merge is mechanical: the only files that differ from dev are this PR's two files (`TaskExecutionService.java`, `TaskExecutionServiceTest.java`); `CouchbaseWriterCloseTest.java` follows dev, which deleted it.
