Looks good. There is no parameter to replace TR from the command line like 
there is for GREP or the others.  This is fairly minor, especially because tr 
should be on the path for just about everyone, and tr has not really changed in 
a long time.

I am fine with checking it in as is, but it would probably be best to just add 
it in.
