Hi Carl, Sorry for the confusion. The problem is not with Imail 12.2 not working - it's working just fine.
Also, you may be thinking of the USER store (where Imail keeps the domains, user/mailbox information, settings, etc.). THAT one can be kept either in the registry or in a database - and you are right, because of its high volume, concurrent use (e.g., because that's how Imail knows how and if to handle every single inbound email, and of course during POP3, IMAP and Web Mail logons), it's been a frequent point of concurrency issues with Imail. However, THAT is NOT where the "contacts" (the address book) are kept. There is a completely SEPARATE database, the "D:\IMail\WorkgroupShare\Data\..." where the address book and other collaboration data is maintained. As you can imagine, the address book is relatively low volume. THAT is the database that Imail (and Declude) is opening through the ODBC DSN "WorkgroupShare" - and that is the one where Declude is having the problem. Which version of iMail is this? The newer versions, I think 11.x and newer, use MS-SQL. I had to update when I installed 12.1 from a 2009 version. J.
