Hi Carl,

Not that it matters at this point. But IMail users do have control on a per
user basis by adding an email address to the users web address book will
automatically whitelist the sender.

The migration from IM to SM can be done and is not too difficult we have
assisted with many of these migrations. At the end of the day SM is ahead of
IM in functionality.

Declude does not work inside MS exchange but can work with MS exchange if it
is setup on a gateway using something like SM, IM or Alligate.

There are solutions for MS Exchange that can integrate like Message Sniffer
it is a little complicated but there are ways to do it like using Dakota
which has a plug-in http://daksoftware.com/?id=47

Subject: [MBF]Migration to Ms-Exchange?

Hi.

I have a customer who is dissatisfied with Imail (and ultimately, declude
because

it doesn't integrate (doesn't whitelist on a per user basis - user has no
control)).

I have recommended they consider SmarterMail as an alternative because I
think

it can import from iMail.

Has anyone done this?

Has anyone migrated from iMail to MS-Exchange?

Can you confirm that declude can work with MS-Exchange and there is no
native

spam filtering for exchange?

Thanks.

Carl
