Hi Carl,

I haven’t migrated, but we have many customers, and other ISPs, who use our
IMail/Declude filtering as a front end for their Exchange servers. We
developed a sync process to keep users in sync between the Exchange and our
filtering gateway. That may be one way for you to go.

On a related note, you mention an inability to set up per-user whitelists.
Are you aware of the Address Book Whitelist feature in IMail/Declude that
uses the webmail address book as a whitelist?

Best,

Darin.

Subject: [MBF]Migration to Ms-Exchange?

Hi.

I have a customer who is dissatisfied with Imail (and ultimately, declude
because

it doesn’t integrate (doesn’t whitelist on a per user basis - user has no
control)).

I have recommended they consider SmarterMail as an alternative because I
think

it can import from iMail.

Has anyone done this?

Has anyone migrated from iMail to MS-Exchange?

Can you confirm that declude can work with MS-Exchange and there is no
native

spam filtering for exchange?

Thanks.

Carl
