Hey to everyone who reads this list! All of you are involved in community gardening in a big way or you wouldn't be reading this list. Just like public radio stations, we need to remind you that the listserv is not free and someone has to pay for it. That 'someone' is your American Community Gardening Association. And just like a public radio station, we need folks who are willing to support our activities and be responsible for the continuing good of the organization. This is as close to advertising as you'll get; ACGA won't put out flashing LED emails to entice you to join. It's just a simple fact: if this is valuable to you, which it appears to be because you read it, then take a moment to surf over to the ACGA website at

http://www.communitygarden.org/support-us/become-a-member/join-renew.php

and either join or renew your membership. We need your input, we need your participation in the organization and, yes, it's true, we need your money. We have a sliding scale for folks who can't do the full pop, but, no matter how much, join ACGA so you can use the list guilt free for a year. There are many benefits to joining beyond supporting this list, so please do join and make ACGA one of your priorities in the coming year.

It's a simple way to make the gardening world a little better for everyone.

Thank you.
