Amy My first job out of college was working with school children and creating organic and community gardens throughout San Diego County. It was the early 70's and I was working out of the County Extension Office in the Clairemont area. Vic Brown was the county agent at that time. We had a very large garden on Market street near Euclid in southeast San Diego. People thought we or rather I was crazy. Vic Brown and the other agents said that organic ag was commercially unviable.
