well, the answer is to simply be sure and be helpful and relevant when you
post, now isn't it?
either you ask a question that has possible relevance to community
gardening, answer those questions, or especially discuss the set-up,
maintenance and problems of such gardens.

I am not sure if I agree with one post a day. Some of these are responses to
another post, and it could become a discussion thread. For those who have
issues with multiple emails a day, I would suggest to change your email
delivery option to the Digest mode. This way you can scan through the
digest, and read the part that you want. Some listservs also have the
options to not receive emails at all, but to read the archive as one has the
chance. This way, you don't even have to get emails. So, your email box is
clear, and we don't have to get another email in our box about spam email.
Hopefully, everyone will be happy, and get back to the real work.
Sincerely,
Diana

Maybe we should make a rule that each person should limit his/her
involvement on
the list serve to one post a day, per person. That way we can post as much
as
we want, provided it is in one post per day. Best, Cordalie

Dear listowners,
Look, I really don't like to complain. Whining just is not pleasant.
And it makes plants wither, I hear. I am a patient guy but I am feeling
besieged
and a tad aggrieved, and I am sure there are others in a similar bent. So
someone has to say something. Looks like it is me.
This list is quite active. There are some folks that feel a need to chime
in on every thread. I can live with that. I have a delete button. But 15
emails
in one day from one subscriber? And that is just a normal day since Glen
Hemerick joined the list. And as far as I can tell, his posts are not part
of
any thread, but rather random acts of electrons. I asked him politely to be
more
judicious in his posts. He ignored me.
So I beseech you to talk this fellow. I am sure he means well, so I mean
him no grief. I just want my inbox back. Thanks,
Steven
