Hello everyone, I'm writing to request any tips, links, case studies, or materials you might know of that could be used to make the case for food as a way of teaching about essential literacy skills (reading, writing, math, health, computers, etc.). For example, reading, math, nutrition, and critical thinking are all involved with cooking a healthy meal. Reading, math, and critical thinking are also involved with planning, planting, and cultivating a garden.
My employer is on the fence about whether we could successfully write a grant application that would support the development of such a project in our area, and any positive evidence would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Bethann -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
