Several Spec pages, including EveryMac and MacTracker list is as 8-bit
Mono. As you say, Apple Spec says stereo, which I'm inclined to believe
but I wanted somone to check a logic board as I can't and some people
don't trust Apple Spec. Needless to say I conceed. It still makes no
odds really, mono or stereo 8-bit is way worse than 16-bit.
