There's a lot to be said for that silence. That's also why my other Mac is a G4 Cube: it's a very quiet machine too.
Of my compact collection (SE/30, SE, Plus x3) I only ever play with the SE/30 and Plus. :) Ever since my Plusses started acting up, I haven't spent much time with 'em. Matter of fact, they're not even on my desk anymore - they're stashed in the corner.
