System 7 does strange things to disks intended for older systems if you
mount them directly.

The disk copy thing should have worked, as I just yesterday booted my
Classic with System .85, which was on the 128k's Guided Tour disk. No
clue what might be going on with yours.

Arrgghh... I can't seem to make it work. I dug out one of the SE/30's
(running 7.1) and an 800K floppy and then hooked it into my LAN with an
AppleTalk bridge. If I format a floppy at 400K and then copy the system
files to it, the 128K simply spits the disk out and shows an "X".

If I use DiskCopy 4.2 and use the "Make a Copy" option, the 128K gives
me a 0F0062 Sad Mac (supposedly telling me that it's trying to boot from
an HFS disk, and doesn't like it)...
