Hello all.

After succesfully changing the HD in my Classic to a 100mb I then went
about the process of initializing it so I can put on system 7.0.1. I booted
up with Apple HD SC setup 7.3.5 and started to initialize. It starts no
problem but after a couple of minutes a bomb error appears saying 'system
error bad f-line'.

Before you go to a *whole* lot of trouble with other formatters, ritual
sacrifice, etc., have you made sure that the new HD has termination
resistors installed? If not, then communication between the Mac and the
drive can be sort of iffy. The dreaded "bad f-line" error message can
easily result from the Mac getting some bent bits back from the drive.
