Hi,

Thanks for the reply, sorry about the delay but I had to wait for
cables etc.

I wonder could you or anyone else help. I got a power supply (10v dc,
850ma) and an scsi lead. Installed software as directed with extensions
off and started up. The power light comes on on the dayna port steady,
the green link light blinks but no activity light. The activity light
on the router is not on for that port.
Ran hardware diagnostics giving:
slot N/A, daynaport card type daynaport scsi/link ethernet address
00:80:19 etc RAM N/A ROM vers 1.4a

Ran echo tests and no packets are being echoed.

Ran software tests give the ethernet address, no zone name, node number
13, network number not found, driver type and version daynaport
scsi/link v1.2.1. At the top it says "In the control panel, under
network, select ethertalk icon. In the network control panel are "local
talk built-in" and "ethertalk alternative" with ethertalk selected.

I'm pretty sure of the scsi cable and the ethernet cable. So what am I
missing or doing wrong?

System classic 7.1 4mb/20mb

Extensions
Appleshare
Appletalk
Ethertalk Phase 2
File sharing extension
Network extension
Among others
Control panels
File sharing monitor
Network
Sharing setup
among others

Thanks for any input.

Steven
