me again, sorry. with the updated 7.1.1 installed the daynaport installer finished correctly. so far the "ethertalk alternative" is working well as a replacement for localtalk. no success using mactcp to a ics doze box but I'll put more into it tomorrow. I hope to see if this improves web access on a 68000 at all. Can't see the 4/40 supporting OT very well, its a noticable difference between 7.1 and 7.1.1 for file tranfers its a good improvement over localtalk, whether it poses more problems using the external scsi, I dont know. The installer will handle 6.07, this I also tried but my 2/20 gave me all sorts of interesting problems, I dont think 2mb ram will work.
