I use an SE/30 running 7.5.3 as a file server on a ethernet and it serves OS 10.3.3
machines but it's one-way only. The SE/30 cannot see the G4. On login to my
Panther-box I execute an AppleScript which in turn calls up a tcsh script which uses
mount_afp to mount disks running on the SE/30. It was a real pain to create and I
learned a lot about BSD UNIX while doing it. Ask off line if you want the scripts. If
there is other interest I'll remove the passwords and put them up on my web site.

Please leave the subject as-is on a reply off line so that you'll get through the spam
filters.
