Lots of snipping here . . .

OS 10.3 is just unbearable to me. With my Classic II running OS 7.1, I'm
back to a kind of Mac OS I love and understand. Reasons I'm not crazy
about OS X:
1) The bloated GUI - left on its own, it bounces around like an animated
preschool toy. Cute, but a real RAM-waster, as far as I'm concerned.
2) The various ways windows are minimized are a real eye strain. I can't
find one way that I'm comfortable with. The traditional "window shade"
effect was just easier to take, even though they could clutter the screen
after awhile.
3) Familiar shortcut keys changed for no reason.
4) My machine spins its wheels endlessly - a condition close to freezing -
quite often when I'm working with "classic" Quark files.
5) Any Mac OS that basically has to go into an emulator mode to run
"classic" Mac programs is *not* a Mac OS - at least to me. Perhaps
"emulator" isn't the right word - I'm not a programmer or an OS expert.
But that's what it seems like to me.

Is there any reason why I should "stop worrying and love the bomb"?
