So I've found. I do like the boot screen saying MacOS, though. A
bridge between modern Macs and this ancient compact mono machine. It
does work. Just.

An odd way of looking at it, but ISWYM. I confess I miss some MacOS 8
niceties, such as pop folders and drawers. I'd love 8.1 on an SE/30!

Hmm. Depends on your definitions. I enjoy maxing-out this tiny old
machine - it's fun. It pleases me to contemplate how much my setup
would have cost at the time: maexd-out RAM, 200MB internal HD, 240MB
external HD, CD, Zip, SCSI Ethernet... Tens of thousands of pounds,
maybe.

[Nod] Got that.

Hmm. I may try both, if I can find them. Given their age I feel no guilt.

Yup!

Ah. I tend to either run some particularly-liked version - e.g. Word
5.1a - or the latest a machine can take. My Beige G3 has Panther and
Office 2004.
