No. It's true that you can't do much on a Compact Mac.
 Even the venerable SE/30 is limited.

The thing that makes it satisfying, however, is that
it is "do-able".

I email on a Mac Plus from time to time with nothing
more than a pair of floppy drives. IT was and is the
level of technology in the Macs and that OS that makes
the "Toasters" still soft-spots in our hearts. They
deserve to be preserved. And after 20-plus years,
that's the reason we still collect and use them.
