This is an application where Windows is inappropriate. She needs a computer to use, not a computer that provides endless opportunities for tinkering. Get her a computer that is attractive, easy to use, that works right out of the box and is not prone to failure. A computer that does not need anti-virus, anti-spyware, and patches every Tuesday. Getting her a Windows computer would be a triumph of ideology over good sense (leave that to the politicians). An iMac 20" would be perfect. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
