Microsoft is leading the charge against them because they do not run
Windows. MS is twisting arms to get them to drop their use of open source
software (which we all know is a terrorist plot against civilization).

On the other hand, I can understand the desire by the people who are
paying to go slow. After all this is a version 1.0 product that is
attempting to do something really different. It is highly probable that
the current design has some kinks that need to be worked out. On the
other hand my version 1.0 iPod is still going strong and I still think it
is perfect. Later models were not always as good.
