Yes, indeed. I've driven a "stick shift" all my life. Works fine. Love it. Both of my cars are 2007 models, however. I didn't know about Seamonkey. I'll try it. Whenever I install Mozilla, it prompts me to upgrade to Firefox, and never mentions Seamonkey.
