Maybe I haven't gone far enough through my email yet, but I can't believe anyone has actually answered the "exciting" question yet. We have several coffee shops in town that are causing a lot of controversy. The coffee makers are all women and wear nothing but lingerie. I don't have a problem with this, but some people do. And the shops are quite busy.

Just like so many other places in our sick society, retailers go to great lengths to be extreme and super stimulating in an effort to be "exciting." I tend to find such places repulsive. Talking to sharp people about the good stuff they sell can be satisfying and stimulating to some of us.

What the heck makes any store "exciting?" Does your heart actually
