I have just added the ppa and  updated the existing concordance with  
1.02ubuntu1ppa1 which I assume is the debug version. It works well and 
although I do not know where the debug output is being placed, the 
remote is being updated properly with concordance in this version. There 
are no problems with this version of concordance!
